The most significant advantage of using WeGotPlayers.com is the ability to build and express your own player’s identity through your own sports resume profile so you can play at the next level. The information you provide may also be shared with other select organizations that are working with our website so we can better meet your needs.

We understand the concerns that you may have about your privacy and we respect your right to protect your personal information while online. However, our Service is designed to allow members (players and recruiters of all levels) to post photos, upload videos and information about themselves for public viewing. Therefore, by submitting your video(s) and/or any personal information, you thereby waive any privacy expectations you have with respect to our use of your likeness or personal information provided to us. If you do not wish to have your video(s) or information about yourself viewed by or disclosed to others, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR PRIVACY PROFILE SEETINGS ACCORDINGLY. If you don’t want your information to be viewed at all then please don’t use our service as we always try to help players promote themselves more effectively.

We may collect certain other personal information from you that we do not post on our Website. We may review all demographic information. We may use public information to enable other members to find your profile, to determine whether a recruiter, coach, professional agent, scout and a player may be a potential match for each other and to communicate with you. We may use demographic information to tailor the Site and communications to your interests. We may also share demographic information with advertisers on an anonymous and aggregated basis. One of the reasons we may do this is to increase the likelihood that our advertisers’ goods and services will appeal to WeGotPlayers members, so that we may target specific ads at specific demographic groups. Our sharing of demographic information with advertisers is anonymous. When you respond to an advertisement, however, we ask you to remember that if that ad that is targeted to a demographic group and you decide to give the advertiser(s) your personal information, then the advertiser(s) may be able to identify you as being a member of that demographic group. Please also be aware that when we disclose your financial information or personal information to a Co-Branded Company, as described above, we may also disclose to that Co-Branded Company your demographic information, other than the content of one-on-one communications between you and other members. Please also be aware that we may disclose your demographic information on a non-anonymous basis as described above in the paragraph titled “How We Use Personal Information”

8. How We Use Personal Information

We use your email address and your other personal information to help us efficiently operate the Website, to contact you in connection with your transactions and other activities on the Site (including, but not limited to, verification email(s)), notifications and to forward messages to you from other WeGotPlayers members. These types of communications are known as “Operational Communications.” In some cases, Operational Communications may also contain commercial messages, such as banner ads and special offers we might offer from time to time.

To operate the Site, including processing your transactions and supporting your activities on the Site, we may share your personal information with our professional agents, representatives, contractors and service providers so they can provide us with support services such as authorization of credit card transactions, email origination, receipt or support services, customer relationship management services, order fulfillment and sweepstakes and promotional fulfillment. The Website is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years old.
